Pearl Hart
DOB: 6/15/2001      ARI# 834519

Pearl Hart is a white proven dam with dense fleece and nice handle. Pearl Harts sire, El Magnifico, has very dense fleece which he passes on to his offspring.

I have bred Pearl Hart to white males and gotten white offspring. I bred her to Via Caligula's Phoenix and she gave me Gypsy, who has lovely, crimpy fiber and a nice disposition. Gypsy was bred for the first time Fall 2010. I repeated that breeding for a Fall 2009, producing a nice white male cria and bred her to Rameau (white) for a Fall 2010 white male cria.

Pearl Hart was bred to Pavarotti Fall 2010 for a Fall 2011 cria. Pavarotti is a gorgeous LF male who brings the Legacy and Victor bloodlines to the Opus Two breeding program. This pairing should produce a very nice cria.

Pearl Hart is a wonderful production dam. I never have to do any extra care for her crias ... she birth's them and takes excellent care of them.

UPDATE: Pearl Hart had twins at 264 days gestation. They were born dead, which is to be expected in that situation. (Birth weights were 1lb 12oz and 2lb 8oz). It is the first twin birth I have seen. Pearl Hart is fine and ready to be bred.
